Hard to read because of he subject matter; an interesting, yet painful, period of Canadian history & the story of the author is heart-breaking. Having said that, I did enjoy reading it.
Amazing survivor! I love reading about other peoples lives and I hope to be able to publish one someday!
This book is an impressive document about the life of a woman whose dreams were shattered by Alberta's infamous eugenics laws and its executioners. This book should be required reading for every (behavior) geneticist.
I definitely recommend this book. The author is very brave, and no matter how it ended, should be very proud of what she has done, and will continue to do in the future. I recommend everyone reads this true story.
